Quick note: EMC VNX and VNXe Live Chat are available on Powerlink, as of last week . Live Chat is usually pretty good support, and you don’t have to fight through thick accents like on phone support.

    This is great news; except I don’t see how to get there. There are lots of other EMC and Cisco options, but VNX is not listed for me.

    It would be great if they listed the product we purchased from them.

    Any suggestions?

    Yeah, for some reason it’s not listed on the main Powerlink page, but you can get to it here: https://supportbeta.emc.com/servicecenter/liveChat.htm

    You can get to that link in Unisphere 1.1 by going to the Support page, then clicking Product Support Page. Join Live Chat is on the right side, with the little orange and green speech bubble icon.

      That’s funny. 🙂 Based on what I’ve seen, VNX and VNXe both handle the core functions well (performance, protecting data, availability) but the extras could definitely have used a little more time in the oven. I’m eagerly anticipating the next FLARE release to hopefully address some of the minor inconveniences I’m running into. So, maybe not Beta, but definately feels 1.0.
